You wake up feeling like you’ve had a rough night’s sleep… maybe a bit jet-lagged, if you’re familiar with the feeling, or perhaps like you, uh, had a little too much to drink last night. Either way, you’re probably not expecting to wake up in a forest clearing, so that might be even more disorienting. It’s not an unpleasant place to wake up, mind. It’s sunny, and there’s a pleasantly cool breeze blowing through. The grass isn’t tall enough that you could get lost in it or that someone could be hiding in it… or something.

There are, in fact, a lot of somethings surrounding you--a veritable menagerie of creatures, some of them adorable, and some of them intimidating… but they seem to be as disoriented as you are. And then, well… you realize something’s a little off about yourself. There’s no pond to look at your new appearance, but… maybe the ground’s a little closer. Maybe you don’t actually have arms and legs at the moment. Maybe you don’t have eyes anymore?

Regardless, something’s definitely up. Fortunately, there’s a path leading out of the clearing, so once you get your bearings and speak with some of the other weird critters you’ve woken up with, you can find… somewhere you can get answers. Well, hopefully, anyway.

[And he punches back, although it's more like a rough shove.]

[Oh, is it punching time again? It's punching time! She lets out a roar:]

KAIMA CREWWWWWWWW!

[And Undyne charges straight at Hakai, intending to headbutt him over.]

[There we go, there's something he can do. There is no moving out of the way, only charging back. The only good thing this puppy form seems to have going for it is the skull and bones it adorns itself with, great for headbutts.]

BUUUURRRRUUUAAAAAHHHHH!!!

[Hakai can't bring himself to call it the Kaima Crew, his mom would kill him. But at the same time, he won't stop her from wanting in on their cool kids club. After their defeat, they have to bring back the name somehow.]

[fuhuhuhuhu]

[There's a deafening crack as the two knuckleheads make contact. Undyne lets out a sharp growl--her head hurts like hell right now, but she's not about to show any sort of weakness towards her opponent...fr...friend...frienemy. She lets out another roar to assert her dominance in the situation.]

DO YOUR WORST!!!

[Apparently, one of the things this body is good at is biting things. A dastardly grin flashes across her face as she gets an idea. She opens her mouth and immediately goes to chomp down right on the pup's nose.]

[Not wanting another wound on this pathetic body so soon, Hakai decides he will do his worst. That's the kaima way after all. If she wants to roll with the kaima crew, she'll just have to get used to it.

He opens his maw and fires more embers, this time at her open jaws. Leave his nose alone, you monster!]

[fuhuhuhuhu]

[She flinches back instinctively when the flames land on her scales, but...for some reason, the flames don't burn as much as she would have expected them to. Huh. A confident grin slides onto her face as she drops to the ground and flips away.]

Come and get me, you coward!

[More acid water gun, coming your way!]

[Woah... What kind of demon just shrugs off fire? She really IS cool.]

Wait, why am I a coward?! I've been fighting you this whole time--AUUUGGGHHH, THAT'S MY FACE!!

[There's only so many super effective hits a low level Pokemon can take. Hakai's knocked out, flopping to the ground and everything. Little Xs in his eyes, the works.]

[fuhuhuhuhu]

[Undyne lets out a successful cackle, placing a foot on Hakai's body.]

Ha-ha! That'll teach you to go up against Undyne!

...

[She lightly nudges Hakai.]

Hey, kid. Wake up. I can see you breathing.

...

[She frowns, but then shrugs and lies down next to Hakai. Can't leave a homie just laying out here alone and defenseless.]
